Overview: The team is hired by a free spirit to pick up and transport a package across town, but other ‘interested parties’ may interfere.
Woodstock is contacted by Alo, his Talismonger, for a potential job. He’s to bring his team to the Yau Ma Tei Herbalist shop in Chinatown to meet his contact. When asked who the job’s for, Alo simply replies ‘I think you’ll like this one’. It turns out that Mr. Johnson is spirit of some sort… a man from the waist up, and a serpent from the waste down. He hire the team to retrieve an item from the Harbor. A smuggler will be dropping off a package that evening, very late, and there my be other interested parties looking to intercept it.
The team heads to the harbor, and easily breaks into the private docks. They wait for the smugglers, verify the cargo, and take their leave. Just then, several cars crash into the pier and disgorge nearly a dozen triad! The team fights them off, and makes their escape. They return to the herbalist, and deliver the package… which turns out to be one of the famous ‘Coins of Luck’!
Before they can leave, the spirit offers them another job… stay on retainer for the week, he may have another job for them…
