Overview: The team is called by Ganef with a quick job on a short notice. They’re hired by a smuggler (Reno Pyatt) to recover a lost package… and the man smuggling it (if possible)… from a gang territory.
The team catches a water taxi to Palos Verdes Island and the courier, Robbie ‘Wrongway’ Right’s, last known location. They arrive to find the neighborhood crawling with gangers from the local ‘ShitKickers’ faction. It turns out the Wrongway owes the gang some money, and they’ve been waiting for him to pass through on his most recent run. After some poking around they find out that the ‘Kickers have captured Wrongway and are searching for the package… whatever it is. They find his comlink and some personal effects in the ruins of an old hardware store, and find the ShitKickers local HQ a few blocks away in the ruins of an old Middle School. After some recon they decide that the gang’s headquarters is too well protected for them to make a rescue attempt. Instead, they distract the gang members near the harbor, recover the package from a locker at the ferry terminal, and high-tail it back to Reno’s.
