A-278 – ‘Jurassic Park’

The group wakes up from a night camping in the wilderness, refreshed and ready to explore the local landscape. After consulting the tablet, they head north towards the closest portal, which also happens to be the direction that they see the smoke. After riding for an hour, they reach a road and follow it for an hour.

They approach a turn in the road, and hear some noise around the corner. Eli and Barry advance to investigate, and when they pause to look around the corner they are surprised and attacked by a large dinosaur. The group fights the beast and continues to follow the road to an abandoned village. The structures are a weird combination of stone age technology, and semi-modern design. They stay the night in the village, and then continue to follow the road north towards the portal.

Eventually, the team meets up with a group of ‘Her Majesty’s Royal Service’, British Empire-age cavalry who are out patrolling. It turns out that A-278 has a stable portal to P-522 that has been discovered and used by the British for tourism, resources, etc. The groups stay the night and continue through the portal the next morning.
