2 June 2074, Geneva, Switzerland – Many were surprised today when Mr. Jan Schaefer, CEO of a AA corporation that specializes in prison facilities, was tapped to give the keynote address at this month’s hastily organized conference on Natural Resources. “I don’t really understand the surprise,” said Mr. Schaefer before boarding a private jet bound for the UCAS, “It makes perfect sense to me. Our facilities – especially those in Antarctica – make superbly efficient use of the resources available to them and are 100% self-sufficient for months at a time in one of the world’s most hostile environments. We have a lo to offer in a post-nuclear world.”
Mr. Schaefer’s address will be given on the opening day of the conference half-way up a nature hike and set o the backdrop of a waterfall. “It is a beautiful location,” comments Lt. Anders, the FireWatch Commander in charge of security. Remote and difficult to access, for sure, but breathtaking.”
