Manhattan—  10 NYPD Inc. policemen were arrested Wednesday after the Brooklyn Bridge was blown up in a sucessful repeat attempt of the 2068 attack that shattered one of its famous pillars. The commander of an emergency response team and 9 other policemen were arrested after the explosions, officials told NewsNOW News.

“I can confirm … that Police Commander Duraid of NYPD Inc, did arrest the Emergency Response Unit Police commander and 9 of his policemen who had been guarding the bridge at the time of the explosions,” Major George J. Rainsford, spokesman for NYPD Inc, told NewsNOW News.

The assault on the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the oldest landmarks in Manhattan, immediately stirred fears of a new round of underworld bloodshed. To ward off a surge of violence, the MDC quickly imposed an two week curfew on vehicle traffic and large gatherings in Manhattan.
