The team decides that they since they signed up for a job, they should be getting paid for a job…whether it was ‘real’ or not. They make the assumption that they were hired by Griffin to beef up their security and start doing research. After a few hours, they choose a target and make a plan. Over the next few days they observe the head of Griffin Security, and on the third day they strike his limo in transit to work and snatch him.

They take the man back to a safehouse and interrogate him for several hours, mainly looking to see who within Griffin hired them and who double crossed them. From the information that the man provides they find that it is most likely that Griffin didn’t hire them at all. He believes that they were hired (and screwed over) by Knight Errant, the company that holds the facility’s security contract. The team discusses it, and decides that they may just need to let this one go. Instead of perusing payment from Griffin, the team decides to fulfill it’s obligation to Evo. Kiril agrees to a meet.

The meet occurs in public. Kiril and Vladimir meet alone, but Kiril broadcasts the conversation to the team. Basically, Vladimir has been tasked to bring Kiril back inside and reinstate him as a corporate asset. And, since the team has involved themselves in Evo business he’s going to bring them in as well.

“Some of the team won’t like this”, said Kiril upon hearing the news.

“If they refuse to join you at the hangar in two weeks time for transport, then you will need to take care of them… permanently,” replied Vladimir, puffing on his cigarette. “Either that, or I could send a kill squad to handle it for you.”

“No,” Kiril said, “I’ll take care of it.”

The team returns to the safehouse to discuss the news. Tempers flare, and they each go thier own way… either to wrap up loose ends in Hong Kong, or to go to ground against the coming storm.
