A few weeks later, the characters are called on to perform a courier mission for the Ten Thousand Lions Triad. The job is straightforward – transport a package across town… the twist is that there are most likely several factions interested in the envelope that they’re transporting, and they’re well aware of where it’s being picked up, and where it’s going.
The team accepts the job and makes their way across town with the envelope. Along the way they come face to face with several triad groups looking to intercept the missive. After fighting off a group of Red Dragon Triad, out-running members of the Black Chrysanthemums, and evading other pursuit along the way, the team ultimately delivers the letter to a villa at Repulse bay it on time and unopened.
- What’s Really Going On: The Ten Thousands Lions are a small, new, and growing triad born from the ashes of the Yellow Lotus Society. In an effort to rekindle some of the smuggling routes that the Yellow Lotus operated the Triad is reaching out with an offer (a treaty) for the Joho-Lowah pirates. The envelope contained the 10,000 Lions offer.
