P-797: Weird Honest Asia
The party boards the airship Gleaming Endeavor, and meets their host, Captain Difference. The ship is also crewed by First Mate Will Smith (no relation), and Jim Cook (the ships cook). Upon examination, the ship seems powered by some sort of magnetism, but Eli can’t figure out how that works. They bunk down, stow their things, and watch the ship depart. The Captain declares it a quick 10 day voyage to their destination.
Two days out, the ship is struck by weird honest Asian pirates. After a long battle (seriously… like 9 rounds!), our heroes defeat the marauders and rouse Captain Difference. The ship puts into port the next day to re-provision and see if they can’t find something for the Captain’s wounds. Shortly afterwords, they’re off again and it’s just a quick 5 days to their destination. After a days walk they find the portal… or at least the building it’s housed it. It’s a massive structure and above the door a sign reads: “Rary’s Inn Between Worlds”.
Potion of Healing… The Middle One: Eli purchased 6 Potions of Cure Moderate wounds. They cure 2d8+3 points of damage.
Nekomata Cloak: The cloak that Hotblack scavenged from the dead cat-demon functions as a cloak of Elvenkind. When this plain gray cloak is worn with the hood drawn up around the head, the wearer gains a +5 competence bonus on Hide checks.
