P-797: Weird Honest Asia

The party decides to head back out to the farmer’s hut… he’s got some sort of network access, and they figure they might be able to leverage that to get a signal out of there. Hotblack starts tinkering with the tablet and eventually trip something in the Quantum Tunneler and a portal opens. Quickly Mark Wahlberg leaps through… but it closes behind him! The rest of the party frantically fiddles with the tablet, but it takes them over an hour to get a portal up again…

…meanwhile, Mark’s alone in an alien world. He takes cover, and examines his surroundings. He’s on a hillock, in some damp grass, near a fence. Looking over the fence he sees a hill with a round door set into it. The nameplate next to the door reads ‘Baggins’. Considering the area safe, Mark makes his way into town in search of breakfast. Halfway through his meal it hits him… the Ring of Power is here! Mark quickly makes his way back to Bag End, cons his way inside, and then dispatches Bilbo with two shots to the head.

Just about this time the rest of the group appears, and they make scarce towards another portal. This one leads to a prime that is strange… the time is feudal, the location is somewhat Asian, and the denizens are quite literal and never seem to lie. After a short while they quickly discover that complete honesty is not the best policy, and search out a portal out of there.
