Player Contacts – Shadowrun, 2062-2065

Below are brief notes on the contacts from the 2004-2006 Tuesday night campaign:

Corporate:

Thomas Chin – Company Man
Thomas Chin is employed as an information retrieval specialist (read: Corporate Shadowrunner) for Seattle’s branch of Yamatesu. His previous contract was held by Ares Security Division, and he still has close ties (and access to information) there.

Darren Wilcox – Corporate Wage Mage
Darren Wilcox is a former Street Shaman done good, at least in his eyes. After a year or two running with the Greenlights (a small downtown Wiz-Kid gang), he was recruited into Universal Omitech (a AA rank corp, specializing in Biotech and Gene research). He’s spent the last year ‘living the high life’ as a member of their corporate security division.

Criminals:

Sakka Hong – Former Yakuza Soldier/Smuggler
Yakuza defectors usually don’t live very long. Sakka is a rare exception. Sakka used the information he gained while working as a guard during cross Atlantic drug runs to acquire some of the routes. He runs drugs, BTLs, and weaponry (both guns, and the ‘archaic’ kind) – along one weekly route known as the Eastern Path.

Sakka actually managed to buy his way out of the Yaks. After he saved the life of his former boss he was given permission to form his own clan. Rather than stay in the Yakuza organization, he went off on his own—with the blessing of his former boss.

Louis Verrcetti – Mafia Soldier

Louie V. is a mid-rank mafia bullyboy for the O’Malley family. He keeps his ear to the ground, and will often pass on choice tidbits, due to a break that you gave him during your years on the force. He will not, however, pass on anything threatening to himself.

Doctors:

Richard Hollis – Street Doc
“Doc” Hollis runs a small clinic just outside of downtown ‘center’. The clinic does primarily patch jobs, emergency resuscitations, and minor cyber-surgery. He is one of a very few street docs in town to keep a competent magical healer on staff.

Doctor Henry Pym – Street Doc
Doctor Pym  runs a small clinic just outside of downtown ‘center’. The clinic does primarily patch jobs, emergency resuscitations, and minor cyber-surgery. He apparently was fired from ‘legitimate’ service due to some sort of addiction, and works out of temporary facilities, acquired as needed.

Fixers:

Agular “Agggie” Smith – Personnel Fixer, Mr. Johnson
Aggie Smith has been around the block when it comes to Shadowruns… from both sides of the bargaining table. Rumor has it that he had a fairly successful career as a Face that allowed him to get out of the biz early. Since then, he’s been arranging runs for anyone that can afford him.

bullet
Aggie is not your average Johnson. At meetings he often comes off as some sort of punk kid, with his leather pants and band-du-jour tee-shirts. But he brings one thing to the table that most other Johnsons don’t… brutal honesty.

Alexander – Fixer/Fence

Alexander is a tech gear fixer and fence that works the metro Seattle area. Through (what must be some pretty impressive) means, Alex is able to get his hands on quite a bit of near-mil-spec hardware… usually security devices and vehicle parts… and always in an impressive amount of time. The price, however, is rarely negotiable. Alexander also works on a strict schedule, maintained by his personal assistant Persephone.

Arn “Two Tusk” Anderson – Fence
Two Tusk is a gear and hardware fixer and fence headquartered in “The Mall” – the central ‘hub’ of the orc underground. He deals almost exclusively in last years hot gear, the newest weapons to hit the streets, and the latest in corporate ‘cast-offs’.

Charles “Coast to Coast” Conway – Arms Dealer
C.C. Conway is a small arms dealer and smuggler operating out of downtown Seattle. He maintains a small, elite clientele, and primarily makes his money smuggling arms out of town via T-Bird routes departing the southern Pullyap Barrens.

Illeanna “Foxy” Fox – Fixer
Foxy is a high-tech electronics fixer based in Seattle, who specializes in top-of-the-line, high tech merchandise. She deals with clients in a far more personal way than most fixers prefer to. Bottom line is that if you treat her right, she’ll give you access to the wiz toys most people can only dream about… for a price.

St. John “The Saint” – Fixer
Saint John is a relatively new fixer to the Seattle scene; but he’s been surprisingly successful; his clipped British accent and impeccable manners coupled with his charisma and negotiating skills have enabled him to make his deals quite profitable.

bullet
“Saint John” is known to travel in lofty circles and high paying jobs, and is regarded as a consummate professional. There are not many that can be trusted in the shadow community, but the Saint  seems like he may be one of them.

Jose Sanchez – Fixer/Decker
Jose Sanchez is the only son the now deceased Juan ‘Dirty’ Sanchez. Jose had a moderately successful career as a small time decker, and ‘big time’ club manager until his father’s untimely death in the fall of 2061. Now, he still keeps tabs on the goings-on in the shadow community, and occasionally takes low-risk decking jobs. Jose’s houseboat can usually be found docked at one of many private facilities downtown.

Jim “Rat” Vanion – Fixer
Jim Vanion is a former Ravager gang member. He is a heavyset human male, of somewhere between 28-35 in age. He runs ‘Vanion’s Pawn’, in Columbia (a district of Downtown Seattle). “Rat” is known to keep tabs on the shadow community, and occasionally deal with both the O’Malley family, and the Yellow-Lotus Triad. Jim is a good source of rumors in the shadows, some organized crime info, small arms, and a place to fence non-sensitive material.

Johnny Wang – Fixer
Johnny Wang is an oleaginous, untrustworthy weasel. On the up side, he makes no bones about this fact, and doesn’t pretend to be something that he’s not. He operates out of a heavily-armored and incredibly well-stocked basement vault beneath a Chineese takeout in downtown Seattle. If you want to buy something, Johnny’s the man to see (as long as you don’t have any moral bones about dealing with a Triad man). Somehow, Johnny can get nearly anything – if it’s fallen off of a truck somewhere, or somewhen, Johnny can get it for you (he’s never been able to explain how a citymaster can fall off the back of a truck, however).

The Law:

Lt. Brian Grant – Lone Star Officer
Brian Grant is an officer with Lone Star… Specifically he runs their equipment ‘cage’. He manages all incoming and outgoing equipment purchases, requisitions, and evidence.

Magical:

Elise Speak with Winds – Talismonger
Speak With Winds is a rare sight, a tribal born Hermetic Mage who’s embraced technology. She runs “Chronos”, a hermetic lore shop located not too far from the Aztech Pyramid in downtown Seattle.

Misc:

Gale on the Plains – Eco-Terrorist
Sara ‘Gale on the Plains’ is an elven Amarind living in Seattle. She is a reporter for the Seattle News Intelligencer.. She is also a sometimes member of TerraFirst!, an ecological terrorist group.

Orlando “Spike” Carvello – Bodyguard
“Spike” Carvello is a former Knight-Errant officer out of Boston, UCAS. When he was injured in the line of duty, he chose to take his pension (which basically bought out the lean on his cyberwear) and go into business for himself as a bodyguard. He works regularly guarding the upper-crust of Seattle’s entertainment scene.

“Bash” – Bodyguard
Bash is a bodyguard working the mid to high grossing sim-circuit. He’s guarded everyone from low-budget skin flick stars, to Maria Mercurial herself. If anyone has the dirt on what’s going on in the sim industry, it’s Bash.

Runners:

Two-Six-Oh-Oh – Decker
2600 (pronounced “Two Six Oh Oh”, or “Two-Six”) is a small time decker / programmer out of the University district. That’s right, he’s a matrix science major at Seattle Tech. Two-Six’s skills are up to snuff, and he could probably make a decent living as a Corporate Decker, or even a Shadowrunner, but he prefers to stick to what he’s good at – ferreting out information. He’s one of the best rookie deckers in the locale when it comes to illicit data searches.

Bruce Wells – Rigger
Bruce Wells (formerly known as “Wheelman Wells”) is still alive and well in Redmond. He has a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy about his former occupation as a small time thief. Bruce runs ‘Wells’ Garage’ in Redmond. Bruce has lot’s of friends in the rigger and go-gang circles.

Joe PistoneDecker
Joe is a small time decker who works primarily out of Hollywood, CFS. Joe has a long history in the simsense industry as a post-production assistant, but after a meeting with the party he decided that his talents were best used elsewhere.

Social Scene:

Will “Wilt” Chamberlain – Club Bouncer
A human bouncer who works a few clubs downtown on a rotating schedule. Works some nights at Matchsticks, the Rubber Suit, and Dante’s Inferno. Rumor has it that at one time he was an alternate for the Seattle Screamers.

Cowboy – Bartender
Cowboy is a full time bartender at ‘the Beautiful South’, a small southern themed bar in downtown Seattle. It’s a ‘theme’ bar, catering to corporate types, and mostly tolerates Wyatt’s presence since he adds to the atmosphere.

Andrew Lloyd – Corporate Manager
Andrew Lloyd is a mid-level corporate manager for Ares Macrotech. He specializes in Marketing, PR, and corporate identity. He is a common face at corp functions and the social scene.

Maude Wakeford – Corporate Socialite
Maude is a 42 year old socialite of epic proportions. Since she is a minor executive Mitsuhama’s entertainment division, she mostly attends sim and music industry functions.

Mike Z. – Bartender (Matchsticks)
Mike Z. bartends Matchsticks Jazz club most weekends. He’s been there for years, knows all of the regulars, and has a good idea of what goes on in the shadowy corners. Not too close of a friend, but he’ll always drop some hints when he’s got something good to tell. Just make sure that the tip is in the triple digits. A good source of information for Shadow Community information.

Street Types:

Angel Adams – Street Mage
Located in Portland, Tir Taingire, Angel ran with Fade a few times ‘back in the day’. He is especially knowledgeable on the latest magical ‘goings on’, and what’s new in the Tir.

“Crazy Ron” – Snitch
“Crazy Ron” is a squatter who resides in Downtown Seattle Center. Though daft, unkempt, and unintelligent at a glance, he’s actually quite shrewd, and very good at keeping his ear to the streets. An excellent source of underworld, gang, and street information – but be warned, anything you say can and will be passed on to anyone who asks!

Ernie Hammond – Bouncer/Former Gang Member

Ernie is a former member of Greenlight, a small Wiz-Kid gang in downtown Seattle. As a mundane, Ernie is was a ‘basher’… basically just muscle. He helped found the gang many years ago, and was a high ranking member until the gang fell apart in early 2062 (after Verde’s untimely death). Ernie works as a part time bouncer at many of the rougher clubs in downtown Seattle.

Ravager Ron, Jimmy Spike, Hammer – Gang Members

A few members of the Ravagers, a small gang (about 35 ‘active’ members) working the east side of downtown. They have no major rivals in the area, as they keep their operations fairly confined to running errands for the Yellow-Lotus Triad.
