P-134 – ‘The One with the Good Pizza’
The ship emerges from the portal above what appears to be Manhattan, but during the trip between worlds the ship seems to have been critically damaged. Caboose does what he can to steer, but ultimately the team crashes hard into the middle of Central Park. After taking a few minutes to get their bearings Eli manages to pop an emergency exit door. Screams of confusion can be heard from outside. “Don’t worry, I got this” says Mark, leaping out of the door.
“We’re going viral! I’m Mark…” he manages to yell, before being knocked from the roof in a hail of bullets. Mark is quickly arrested by the police officers on scene, as are Eli and Hotblack. Within minutes some military personnel arrive on the scene, and it becomes apparent to the team members outside that this world is somewhat equivalent to a black-sploitation film… stuck in the ’70s, and predominantly African-American. The General begins to interrogate the team… they are obviously aliens, and he wants to know why they are here!
Meanwhile, Ko Bong, Wyatt, and Caboose hunker down in the ship, a little confused by exactly what’s going on. Caboose accidentally connects to one of the tablets, and finds out that there’s a portal within a few hundred yards… and it’s currently open! The team makes it’s move, and fights there way to the portal, leaping through it seconds before it closes.
They arrive in some sort of hangar, and discover that they’re on ‘Wade’s World’, and that they’ve been invited to be a part of a ‘great adventure’. The building is setup like some sort of bar/entertainment complex… a low budget ‘world hopper’s’ version of Chuckie Cheese. The team leaves the front door, and finds themself standing on a hill, in front of a castle.
